Hello and welcome to the website for the Swansea Bay GP training Scheme.
We’re currently still in the process of developing this online resource with and for GPs and trainees in the Swansea Bay area.
About the Swansea Bay GP training Scheme
In February 2020, Neath and Swansea schemes merged under one joint Swansea Bay Neath Scheme.
We have three GP Program Directors for the Swansea Bay scheme:
- Rebecca Jenkinson
- Kirstie Truman
- Keith Hawkins
After the merger, we were holding Half Day Releases and GP training days in between Singleton, NPTH and Gorseignon.
But for the interim, we’ve been conducting training virtually on Microsoft Teams.
Content and filler pages
This particular site began to make it easier to have a single point resource about locally relevant information about our training.
The PDs suggested it might be a good idea to turn it into the official website for the scheme and are already writing up a lot of new content.
